Clinical EFT - "Tapping"
(Emotional Freedom Techniques)

What Is Clinical EFT?

Clinical EFT, also known as "Tapping", is a gentle, evidence-based method for reducing stress and emotional overwhelm. It’s a needle-free version of acupuncture, sometimes called "emotional acupuncture."

EFT combines the following  3 therapeutic approaches:

  • Cognitive therapy: Identifying and addressing limiting thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that contribute to emotional distress.

  • Exposure therapy: Focusing on negative emotions, thoughts, or sensations to address the root causes of stress.

  • Somatic stimulation: Tapping on acupressure points to release stored stress and tension in the body.

A gentle, body-based approach

🖐️ EFT involves gently tapping specific points on the face and upper body with your fingertips, rather than using needles.

🧠 Because it involves touch and body awareness, EFT helps calm the nervous system through the body—not just the mind—making it a truly somatic practice.

🌿 This body-based method supports deep emotional release and helps you feel more grounded and calm.

Why "Clinical" EFT?

Unlike quick versions seen on social media, Clinical EFT is grounded in science and is used in clinical settings by trained practitioners.
It's a structured, research-backed approach that can be tailored to your unique needs—whether you're working with stress, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, or emotional overwhelm.
